Most people suffer financially, not for lack of opportunity, not for lack of skill, not for lack of desire, but for reasons much more complex. Over the last decade, I've spent thousands of hours looking into what makes some people able to create wealth out of nothing while other, more educated, more skilled, more motivated people fail to do much more than etch out a less-than-ideal living.
It wasn't until I stopped looking at the "business and marketing" side of things that I started to get the answers I was after.
The Big Breakthrough
As you and I grew up, we had people teaching us about money every step of the way. If we were lucky, we learned about money from people who had lots and lots of it, but typically, we learned what we know from people who made just enough to get by.
That's really interesting when you stop to think about it. You and I learned about how to make money and be successful from people who have never tasted success in their entire lives!
Look at your average school teacher. While their hearts are in the right place and they do teach us the basics, we can't look to them to teach us how to become financially free, or how to run a successful business. They've never done these things!
In fact, most teachers I knew never left the education system and hence had no idea of what it was like to be in business for yourself. Yet, we listened to them as youngsters, and their words began to form the foundation of our future success.
It was 1995 when I got my very first taste of learning from somebody who was out there making waves and making more money than all the teachers that had ever taught me, combined!
I was blown away by what I was hearing and that day I set out on a course to find out all I could about what makes it possible to become wealthy, I mean REALLY wealthy.
My quest has lead me to create The Master Course to Financial Success. It was in 2003 that I first presented this material to a small group of people from all over the country. I had no idea what to expect because I'd never before shared this kind of material, although it had been something I'd been researching for some time.
Well, the results were amazing!
During the 4-week program, one lady literally doubled her income. She discovered that they only thing between her and wealth was her thinking! By making just a few minor adjustments in her thinking, she was able to see wealth-producing opportunities that had been there all along, only she was blind to them!
Immediately, she started to take advantage of what was already there and her income rose within 5 short days! She was completely on fire!
